Why the Songs Here End
A last Quest gives the listening a boundary, and that boundary changes what the sequence leaves behind.
A last Quest gives the listening a boundary, and that boundary changes what the sequence leaves behind.
An Adventure asks for a beginning, a middle, and a last Quest that understands its position.
An endless queue can keep sound moving. A chosen ending gives the movement a boundary. It creates a point from which the listener can look back across the sequence.
Build Your Universe ends on “Beyond the Stars.” The title reaches outward, but its position does the quieter work: it lets the Adventure rest after the climb of the title Quest.
Other endings can resolve, interrupt, strip the arrangement back, or leave a question open. The choice changes the memory of everything before it.
That is why the Adventures here keep their authored order even when every Quest can play on its own. A sequence deserves somewhere to let go.
