Privacy at MetaDJ.ai

On Vercel-hosted deployments, public pages load Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. MetaDJ.ai also sends bounded product events for public listening and discovery: Quest IDs for listening and Keep actions, preset question IDs and entry surfaces for Ask, and coarse kept-count buckets when the Crate closes. Your saved Crate list remains in this browser; it is not a cloud account or a synced library.

The telemetry runtime does not load on Private Listening Room paths. Custom events repeat that pathname check, and the current feature events do not send raw search queries, page URLs, media error text, or private-room activity.

localStorage keeps device-local listening preferences and history: repeat, shuffle, mute and volume settings, a resume Quest and position, kept Quest IDs (your Crate), Blend, the crossfade setting, the selected Atmospheres scene, whether you answered the Atmospheres photosensitivity notice, and your Atmospheres motion choice (moving or still).

sessionStorage keeps tab-local playback continuity and whether the player is closed, the Highlight preference, temporary scroll positions, and a one-per-tab marker when a visit arrives from a retired MetaDJ Music host. If browser storage is unavailable, the listening experience falls back to in-memory state for the visit.

Imagine keeps the current reference, reaction, direction fields and editable brief in sessionStorage for this tab. That draft can survive navigation and reloads in the same tab; closing the tab or clearing browser data may remove it.

The guided brief does not call a hosted AI service or send your answers to a server. Text and JSON exports are created in your browser. Raw creative inputs are not recorded as product events; query strings and fragments on Imagine URLs are removed before Vercel telemetry.

If storage is unavailable, the working text remains in the page so you can download it. Unreadable saved data is retained for download and is not automatically replaced; starting fresh is a separate choice.

A successful room unlock sets a signed, HTTP-only session cookie used to authorize the room, its session check, and its protected media requests. Locking the room clears that cookie.

A separate functional navigation-hint cookie lets the shared header show Private and Lock controls before the app hydrates. It does not grant room access, and the authoritative session check can clear it when the room session is no longer valid.

MetaDJ.ai does not currently run advertising. The current app code includes the Vercel measurement packages described above and no advertising SDK.
